Quick and easy PROTEIN SHAKE… can be plant based and dairy free! Great for post-workout to help build muscles. Also a healthy snack for between meals. Make extra and store for up to 5 days.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups water or coconut water
1 cup almond milk (or soy)
2 scoops protein powder (plant: Vega Smoothie, Vegan Smart, or soy)
1 organic apple, cut up
1 banana (or 1/2 avocado)
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
3/4 kale or spinach
1/2 tsp. Spirulina powder
flax seeds, maca powder, raw shelled hemp seed (optional)
DIRECTIONS
All fruit and veggies can be fresh or frozen. Organic is preferred.
In a blender, add liquids, powders, fruit and veggies. Blend on high.
Refrigerate left over, will keep for 5 days.
